To celebrate our anniversary, we made the following donations to charity. Each charity received a minimum of £200.

Below are the local charities that we are proud to have supported to celebrate our 21 years in business.

Trident 21 Years
Georgia's Voice

Confidential support groups for young women with mental health concerns. A place where you will be around others who have an understanding of your feelings, who want to help you, a place where you will never be judged.

St Petrocs

St Petrocs is Cornwall’s only independent homelessness charity; with the ambition to end street homelessness in Cornwall. St Petrocs work towards achieving this by providing accommodation, support, advice, training, and resettlement services to homeless people in Cornwall.

Falmouth Age Concern

Falmouth Age Concern is a local, independent charity helping to enhance the lives of elderly people in our community. Providing one-to-one befriending service in the local area as well as a number of clubs and classes, summer excursions and winter events.

Man Down

Supporting men's mental health, Man down is a Cornwall based group offering safe spaces to meet the current emotional and mental health needs of men who are struggling to cope with the everyday pressures facing them in modern society.

Sasha Would've Loved It

Falmouth teenager Sasha Watson lost her battle with cancer at the young age of 19. In her memory, Sasha Would’ve Loved It charity has been formed to provide experiences, adventures and fun for Cornish teenagers fighting cancer.

Invictus Trust

Dedicated to the memory of Ben Cowburn, a wonderfully vibrant young man whose struggle with mental health issues had tragic consequences. Our aim is raise awareness of adolescent mental health and provide signposting to help for those struggling, and to lobby for better mental health services in Cornwall.

Cornwall Refuge Trust​

Provides refuge accommodation for women, men and children who have escaped domestic abuse, offering them a safe and supportive environment in which to recover from their experiences. Offers support and advice, empowering victims and survivors of domestic abuse.

Dreadnought
The Dreadnought Centre

Supporting children and young people in Cornwall who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Offers support on a one-to-one basis with sessions focused on their needs – the adult is there to listen and to accept them unconditionally; to support them to understand their feelings and make changes in their life.

Pink Wig Events

Pink Wig Events are a local fundraising group that hold an annual ‘Pink Wig Night’ in Falmouth raising vital funds for the Cornwall Breast Care Team at The Mermaid Centre RCHT and also BCN nationally. With Covid-19 this year they have not been able to run any events to help our fundraising.

Royal Cornwall Hospitals

Raising money for more ICU rehabilitation gardens, starting with Cornwall. Robin Hanbury-Tenison, 84 year old British explorer and Corona Virus survivor climbed Cornwall's highest mountain exactly 5 months after being released from the Intensive Care Unit in Plymouth.

Mind Cornwall

Cornwall Mind provides a range of wellbeing services for people who experience mental health problems. With over one in four people experiencing a mental health problem in Cornwall the need for good quality mental health support, advice and information is vital.

Penryn and Falmouth Foodbank​

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. Providing three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. Part of a nationwide network, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger.
